Health and fitness have always been a huge interest of mine. As a kid I played netball religiously, and I loved the way it made me feel. After high school I trained for 2 years full time as a dancer to complete my diploma in musical theatre. Immediately after I started studying fitness.
During my time training as a dancer we were pushed to our limits and people were injured frequently. This (plus further study) taught me how to train SMART. Learning to train efficiently and prevent injury, or if you have an injury how to work around it.
So often people put their own health at the bottom of their priorities, without realising that if anything happens to their health it directly affects EVERYTHING else, (time with family, career, social life). Before they know it they are struggling with daily tasks or a minor pain has become a chronic injury. Looking after your health is so important and it’s never too late.
I really want to help people see their self worth and realise what they are capable of. The only thing between you and your goals is consistency, and I’ll be there to help along the way. It’s really not that hard once you get started!
I would say my style of training is as efficient as possible. I want to get you from point A to point B by building a strong foundation and strengthening any weak areas. I work in a structured way that builds strength and gets results. I want all my clients to feel proud of what they achieve, and to feel better in their own bodies.
